Wonderful shots, #1 is my favourite! Half of me wants to thanks you for sharing these photos, the other half curses you because you make me want a good macro lense too

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I wasn't totally happy with the second two - there's too much glare from the flash, even though I had a couple of layers of mylar over it as a diffuser.Think I should figure out some type of bounce card or just buy a set. My local camera store had a rather neat looking set with different colored cards, I've been thinking about.

Get the macro lens - there's nothing quite like having a good macro lens - its both fun, fascinating and frustrating all at the same time. It's always a great adventure to discover things on the computer monitor that were too small to really see properly through a viewfinder.
