#4 is my favorite - sure looks like that lens was worth doing a little work on.

Actually, it's #3 that I like best. #4 is good but I prefer one that's a little less ... guess "busy" might be the right word. It's simply my personal taste in pictures.

i'll take 2 & 3.
what aperture are you using. all of these seem to be lacking any DOF.

what is the process to re-machine a lens? just curious

F/16 and F/22 Roy. Should have done that with the rose photo.

I take a lens with a Yashica Contax camera mount and convert it to work on a Pentax Camera. I'll post some more on it tonight when I get off work. The reason for doing this is the Yashica mount lens from the 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's, no longer are used on any cameras. they can be bought for very little money but they are very high quality lenses. This one is a Vivitar lens with a Y/C mount.
