Here are my first K10D photos!
Informal portrait with FA50mm ![]() F100-300mm f4.5-5.6 at 300mm ![]() Sigma 24-135mm f2.8-4.5 ![]() ![]() A special thanks for making this possible (you know who you are) I must say that there is a difference from the DL to the K10D, not the least of which is the weight, this camera with the Sigma attached is a beast. I use my Sigma 70-300 APO DG most often on my K10D, and I know what you mean; takes the place of weight-lifting! |

I have the optional battery grip and with my Sigma 135-400 it is heavy. I use a monopod as much to help hold it as for any reduction in camera movement.
It is nice to have more controls easily accessible with switches rather than chasing through menus. Enjoy Phil |

Congratulations, Ira - you have arrived! I have both the camera sne the Sigma, so I know what you mean about weight (for those not familiar with the lens, it takes a 77mm filter - 'nuf said)!

All I can say is that the pictures with the Sigma are wonderful, looks like that's going to be an outstanding combination for you. Looks like it focuses better withthat lensthan it did with the DA*50-135. And yes, the extra weight does take a bunch of getting used to. Have fun with the camera!
