Any ideas of what "rear converter for SDM" means?!

I suspect it will be the SDM equivalent of the Pentax 1.7x AF teleconverter, although probably not at 1.7x.

Hmmm, that would be interesting: AF converter with SDM making a 40 years old manual focus lens a SDM lens? Wow, that would be nuts!
