Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said: "Into each life some rain must fall."
“All the lonely people, where do they all come from? / All the lonely people, where do they all belong?” From the Song Eleanor Rigby He must be a real fan under that umbrella. A wonderfully melancholy shot. |

The show must go on!
It's rather sad to see an event get rained out like that. Glad to see there were a couple of brave listeners including you there. |

As usual, the picture doesn't tell the full truth. But I'm not sure of wich is worse. There were some 30 persons all together in the audience, mostly family of the performers, and of course the performers themselves. But this photo is taken during a shower, and nearly all are seeking shelter under the garden party tents that luckily were in place.
The person on the front row with an umbrella is my son, who was performing as well and sat there as an act of solidarity with the singer. The guy at the left is the organizer of the festival. So far summer has been dreadful, with flooding all over southern Sweden. It's been raining 5-10 times the average for June and July. And that is after an extraordinarily hot and dry first half of June (till my last work day, of course) and July just beginning. As I mentioned in an other thread my son renamed our lawn to "The Green Sea". And it's been cold to. Today as cold as well, but at least not rainy. Kjell |

You can send some of that rain our direction any time now - we'd be happy to take some of it off your hands. Only without the light show they are predicting tonight - not much chance of rain, mainly thunder and lightning - not good weather right now.
Your son must be one cool guy - how thoughtful of him. |
