Hi everyone on this friendly forum!
It has been a long time I've been posting and reading :-( But this month theme was something for me- as I develop SW for meteorology :-) So out of thousands of cloud images on my system I chose one randomly (blindfolded I must say..) Not the greatest but somehow it caught my attention in April this year: ![]() Taken with K10D+DA [email protected] but somehow I managed to shoot it JPEG only- I only wonder how...(or have deleted the PEF one :-( And BTW: although activity in submissions is rather low I must say that the images I saw are very impressive- and show that photogs not only look straight or downwards but also upwards (and do not shoot only the Moon :-) Anyway, best and happy shooting and promised myself to visit this friendly for more frequently, JR |

I love what I've seen so far this month. Excellent subject, by the way. Tough competition...
Here's mine, one of strangest skies I've ever seen. This was shot from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada towards Port Huron, Michigan across the St. Clair river. K10D, Sigma 70-300 APO DG @ 100mm, 3 second exposure, ISO 100. ![]() |

Neat sky - unusual colors on the clouds.

Like so many others, my best cloud pics are outside the 90 day window, but I saw this one just before sundown yesterday, and it will have to do unless I stumble onto something better.

Nice capture, Steve. Too bad you couldn't have worked a little of Art Hill into the scene...that is such a wonderful view from up there! Especially now that fountains have been revamped!
Thanks for sharing! Ron |

Well, I spent my week in the Caribbean watching for good cloud pictures. I caught this one as we were sailing out of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. I don't normally name pictures, but I am calling it Spotlight on Paradise. K10d, 18-55mm lens, shot in RAW and PP in PSP X2, which apparently supports PEF files!
