Its a bit off topic, but I found it interesting....
It appears that NASA has a problem with colors. Remember all the images you might have seen of Mars from the Rovers up there. It shows a very foreboding Red/dark brown landscape with a reddish brown sky, all very Martian like. Well, on the top deck of the Rovers is a set of calibration color strips, and it appears that NASA has altered all the images replacing all the blues with reds. When JPL re-corrected the colors, the red landscapes turn to be a somewhat samon color with a blue sky - pretty much like here in Arizona. http://www.libertythink.com/totalinf...n/BlueMars.htm |
