They still look good. Those tents are selling mortars that let anyone put up pretty stuff. BTW can someone please tell me how you folks put more than one pic on one message? Is there a button somewhere I'm not seeing?

this was at Joplin Airfest this past Friday. a man named Steve Carlton has mounted two big model airplane jet motors on a sailplane. Each motor provides 45 pounds of thrust, giving him 90 pounds of thrust to push a sailplane that weighs in at about 400 pounds with a 150-pound pilot. He mounted flares and fireworks projectors on the wings. This is a 15-second exposure.

Just keep putting new images in the same post using the insert image icon.

Hi Tom
I see a choose file button, down below between this window and the "notify me by e-mail" button but no insert image icon. when I choose an image it puts one next to the button, then if I hit choose file again and select another image, it replaces the first image, it doesn't add it. Boy do I feel like an idiot, there must be something I'm not seeing. |

Love your fireworks shots!
If you want to have more than one picture in a post, you have to have them hosted somewhere else, like pbase, photobucket or another photo hosting site. Then you can use the icon (top row toward the right, icon looks like two blue balls with a red one on top of it) to identify the URL of the picture you want to add to a post. If you don't want to put them somewhere else then you are limited to putting one per post and replying, like you did with this thread. |

Well I'm not hosted anywhere, so I guess I'm posting one at a time. Check this one out. It was at the professional display in Carthage, Mo. and the exposure was only 15 seconds, but it was the start of the finale and the fireworks people shot a huge group of red bursts. I fired a flash from behind to light up the crowd, and the effect turned out pretty spectacular.
