The Sigma 24-135mm f2.8-4.5 is the most talked about culprit with this problem however, carefully clean the electrical contacts on the Sigma lens and try it again, let me know if that works (it did for me).

I see Harriet already came up with the answer. I too had this problem with the Sigma 24-135 on my old long gone istDS. Never could get it to stop no matter what I did......cheers...Do
