I didn't really know of any of the improvements until reading the last couple of posts. Really seems like Pentax is upping the standard...again! Didn't realize of the improved AF at lower light & the 3" LCD...bravo!!!!

I doubt it, Pentax has to leave something for the big guns. Anyway none of the competition have prisms in their entry level models.

Yes, the DS and DS2 had bothpentaprisms and a larger buffer, but every entry level Pentax since has used mirrors and the small buffer. I think since this little cost cut didn't hurt sales I would be very surprised if Pentax went back to a pentaprism in this model. Right now the only "current" Pentax with prism is the K10D. IMHO
