Any chance we could see the original images you used to make that final image? Was it a a pair or more?

It uses three exposures--one normal and one at +2 and one at -2. I will try to post the originals later

Thanks for posting the original pictures - I'm impressed with what Photomatrix made of them (I haven't tried it yet). It's amazing that it could bring out the colors as well as it did, considering that all of the originals are rather "flat" - is that the right term? Not very much contrast, not very much color. This could convince me to give this a try. I assume that you used a tripod to keep the separate frames lined up the same?

Once the software has created the HDR image, you can then "tone map" it and adjust the amount of saturation, luminosity, etc.
Yes, a tripod is a must. I find myself rarely shooting hand-held anymore... |

I was looking at that program, Silkypix, and a panorama proggy, but then downloaded the trial cs3 upgrade for Pshop(I use 7.01) which amazingly does everything those programs do together and more. But I have to test it's HDR abilities, so far no results like you managed to work there, Rick.

Very nicely done... Love the outcome. Haven't played with HDR all that much, but CS2 does have a "Merge To HDR" plug-in that does the same thing.
