Love the color and texture in 1, but the composition is a bit boring.
I rather like 2. The little flare is a great focal point. If only it had the color of 1... 3 isn't doing anything for me. |

I can't disagreeabout the first two (I'd also cut off the extra dark parts on the bottom but otherwise really like them), but I do about the third one. It also has too much dark on the bottom, butI just love sunrises and sunsets and so I like it. Try cutting off most of the bottom dark and see what it looks like then.

I really like #2 but as others have said, they would all benefit by being cropped a bit more.

Thanks for the feedback. I know I need to work on composition skills. This doesn't come easy for me. Funny thing is that I actually like the 1st one best. Go figure. I just cropped them and they do all look better.

I like the first one best also, I like the colors. Composition is hard for me too, but, if you are planning on printing and hanging these it is a good idea to leave some room for cropping anyhow. An 8x10 print is cheaper than an 8x12 and the frames are both cheaper and easier to find. I seem to keep forgetting this when I am actually pressing the shutter though.
So lets see the cropped versions! Tim |

Oooh - I do like them better! By the way, I'm horrible about composition, too. I keep hanging around here, letting everyone's suggestions rub off on me. I've also found that we don't all agree, either - sometimes I'll like something that leaves another cold, and the other way around, too.
