I got a set of Cokin filters for my K100D, and decided to give them a try. I had the best luck playing with the 8x ND filter, which gave me this photo:

That is a very interesting effect. I picked up some ND filters but I have not tried anything like this yet. It does make the water look a little ethereal.

very nice. i've got a 4x and an 8x by hoya which i've not used as much as i'd like.

Very cool! You've certainly made good use of the slow shutter speed - I need to drag out the tripod and my ND and see if I can't get something interesting, next time I go to the beach (still haven't managed to get over there yet).
