You did a good job getting even light. I am trying to get better at using a flash so that it does not always look like I used a flash.

The better bounce card does yield some very nice results... I might very well try that more often than just pure bounce. (It will save a couple dollars on an OmniBounce too)

The first one looks like he's really unsure of what you are doing - it's a cute picture. The flash works really well - doesn't look like a flash picture but gives you very even lighting. I like it.

Viz-
I am doing a follow-up for the Flash Thread, which I am working on updating. As I understand it, you are using a Promaster 7500DX flash with your Pentax K-100 camera, is that correct? If have done a price search on the Promaster 7500DX flash and the best price that I can find thus far is $(US) 229.95 with free shipping. I have not been able to positively establish if the Promaster 7500DX flash is fully compatible with the K-10 camera, do you have any info about K-10 compatibility? Thanks in advance for your help on this issue. Your photos look great, the better bounce card technique really works well, and it is very cost effective. However, with practice, placing the tilt on your flash to about 70 degrees also creates very similiar photos. Sarah Joyce |

Viz and Dal-
Viz and Dal, many thaks for your help! For Viz: I was hoping for a lesser price naturally, but you cannot have everything. For Dal: Luckily, I found a model of the Promaster 7500DX that is designed for both P-TTL and TTL, so it would appear to work with BOTH the K10 and the K-100 cameras. We do know for sure that it works well with the K100 due to Viz's experience. Now please don't leave just yet, let's see if we can verify for sure that it will work with the K10 as well. I will post anything I find over in the flash thread itself. Sarah Joyce |
