Is there a free program out there to be able to batch edit color to B&W ?
What in your experiences have been the best program for converting to B&W ? I currently use Picasa but don't really like the faded out look it gives. |

for me personally i much prefer to do each photo individually
and there are so many ways to convert to black and white each has its own benefits desaturate is the easiest but not the best, most programs can do that there are some good tutorials on the net |

It's not free if you like it, but you can download a 30 free trial of Lightroom. That will do batch conversions, and it's very easy to adjust contrast etc. with it - worth checking out.
