This morning, a small group of Mallards decided to take over the backyard pool for their morning constitional. Our trusty Iggy (Italian Greyhound) Striker (Strike up the Band), objected since it distrubed his morning snooze, so he did nothing but watch - since who wants to get all wet anyway....

All of my dogs would have jumped in immediately, too. The last one wasn't a big swimmer (he preferredsplashing in streams to swimming) but he would have loved trying to catch the birds. Very nicely done.
