Shelia's parents are now back in the US. We took one last trip to Switzerland so they could see the Alps. Here are a few shots from Grindelwald, Interlaken, and then Basel.
The Eiger. What a great place to sail! In fact its so great there seemed to be a constant flow of sails... ![]() ...all landing safely. And finally, on theway home,a stop off in Basel. That's all the traveling we're doing for a while. It was a lotof fun and I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Glenn |

Guess it is back to watching the travel chanel for me. I enjoyed the pictures of your travels very much!
The sailing looks like quite a thrill, even though I'd be happier watching it from the ground! I like image # 2--looks like a flock of birds in the sky. Jay |

Wonderful shots Glenn! I enjoyed these and all the others you have posted from your vacation.
#3 looks like an air traffic control nightmare. What or who keeps them from near misses, or worse? Jim |

Ronny, Kjell, Jay, Jim, Roy, Rodney and Patty, thank you for all your generous comments. Too bad we are all so far apart. It would be a lot of fun to actually get together and do shoot!

Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Quite a few years ago I remember taking a train up the Jungfrau (think that's what it was) and visiting a cave that was carved into the ice. Was that in Interlaken (that's what comes to mind, but it was a trip when I was growing up so I might have that wrong). I wonder if its still there. That was one of the most impressive parts of the trip for me.
