Hello All,
I am a sort of regular but only in this section. I have to tell you that I got an offer which I could not refuse. I will stop with shooting with pentax gear. I want to thank everybody here who liked my postings. If you want to see my photo's visit regular my website. I do not think the quality will be better but the new gear will help to nail the faster birds ;-). Here you will see almost my last photo's from the Pentax, I have some little more and will them later this week. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you all for your support and looking at my photo's. regards Walter |

Most definitely your shots will be sorely missed.
Pic No2 is a great action shot. I assume you are moving to Canon gear. Everyone must choose the right tool for the job in hand. Good luck. Dal |

I hate to see you go - you've been such an inspiration to me! But so often we find ourselves going in unexpected directions and moving on as life takes us. My other regret is that I'm not buying your equipment! Good luck with your new set-up.

![]() I saw your post on BD, if I weren't so short on cash right now I'd buy your K20 right away! Those are amazing shots btw. Tom |

Sorry to see you go. Another lured to the dark side,
![]() So which brand shall you be migrating too? It is too bad that Pentax hasn't been able to get better performance from their autofocus, I am not a bird photographer and I still find myself frustrated by the AF systems shortcomings. Your work will certainly be missed, good luck. Ira |

Hi Walter,
Thanks for showing us the upper end of what Pentax gear can do. Your work has been truly inspirational. Best wishes for you with your new equipment. I'll just assume that it will deliver the performance you need. A deal that you can't refuse is, well -- something that shouldn't be refused. . .:-). Scott |
