That's really a lot of snow in a couple of days! I live as far north as Alaska, and so far this winter we have had 1/4 inch of snow, lasting for two days...

Nasty business. We have nothing but temperatures in the 30s, low 40s with rain. Some snow would be a welcome change, as long as it wasn't like yours.

this kind of snow justifies national emergency, not like here in UK. half inch of snow and they close schools due to bad winter

Boy, that is a lot of snow. Hope it is not the wet/heavy kind. When all that starts melting....
We do not get lots of snow but this year we had plenty. I had to shovel every couple of days since early December. And we usually get our share in March. Two more months to go. Cool shots. I would take lots of them and find a way to profit. I could see them used for "early snowblower maintenance service discount" in September:-) |

Those are great pictures of the Chama snow fall. In 1972/73 we had 320 inches of snow in a USFS camp on the Mogollon Rim. Fun at first and pretty tiresome after 30 days. Folks came our with dog sleds and dog teams to play, but the snow was so soft the dogs sank to their bellies.
