I checked the wiper fluid and it is the winter type, the coolant is set for -27F, but for some reason they have 20W50 oil in it, which will not work here. It has 179,000 miles on it, but I was told it has a different motor with 60,000 miles and it ran just fine at 70mph for 2,100 miles and used no oil, so that may be the case. It does have a new starter, alternator and brakes done just a month ago.
I drove it back just because I wanted a rust free vehicle, so tomorrow I will undercoat it to keep it as rust free as possible for the next few years.
I wish I had more time on the trip and wasn't restricted to photography from the truck, but I did not want to be in the mountains when it snowed with fancy California wide tires with very little tread on them.
Thanks for following my test drive and all the good wishes.
Tom
