Hi All,
Haven't posted anything since my display went wacky. I think I've gotten it worked out tho . . . How do these look? All except the Downy with the K20, Tam SP300/2.8, stacked Tam 140F 1.4x TC and P F 1.7x AFA, and shot from a tripod. All have been cropped, PP'd to taste and resized. Tree Sparrow ![]() Female Northern Cardinal ![]() Grackle -- the light was just about right to catch its iridescence. ![]() Male Downy WP. This one's with the FA*300/4.5 and P F 1.7x AFA and about half the distance of the others, but hand held. ![]() Another female Cardinal ![]() Scott |

They look fine - your display must be working OK now. Good shots.

They look accurate on mine. Very nice series. Those grackles are kind of ignored because they're so common but they really are a good looking bird with beautiful coloring.

Hi Eddy, Penolta, and Dennis,
Thanks. This monitor thing has been driving me crazy. It went dark, too contrasty, and oversaturated, so everything I did in PP was too light, had no contrast, and was way undersaturated. Made it pretty difficult to evaluate the new K20 when nothing on the computer came close to what I saw on camera's LCD. I appreciate you taking a look and verifying that it seems like things are back to normal. Scott |

I can't say one way or the other because I'm using my laptop's monitor, and it's not very good. They look fine to me, and they sure are sharp!

They are outstanding, I see the need for me to find more lenses for the K20

Hi Harriet and Terry,
Thanks for taking a look. Now, with some more reliable sources, I'm pretty confident that things are okay. I've got a few more I'd like to post to illustrate why I'm really liking the K20. Scott |

Hi Terry,
I'm just getting ready to do just that -- more BIF, as a matter of fact -- I think you'll find it interesting. Scott |
