Really impressive. I noticed both were at F4: was that auto or manual focus?
It looks like a great lens. I wonder if it will be OK for soccer?

Nice. Owls would be great subjects.

The first one was automatic, second manual (to many branches in front of it).

For me it's a great lens, internal focusing , no distortions, no croma , ... and I'm very happy with it.

Haven't done any sport shots with it but I'm shure it will preform there to.

      Thanks for commenting

the are great ronny. i should have gone today because i was in the area and it was 1/2 price day. even had a 70-210 and 300 with me. it completely didn't occur to me. i like the ft. worth zoo better than the one in dallas but it's 50 miles away..

      Thanks Roy,

the one advantage of zoo's is that you can always go back.
We've got a zoo about 4miles away, so I never went to see what was in the close neighbourhood.
This one is a 40miles away, and has not the name/fame off the Antwerp Zoo, but ...
this was a revelation. I'm sure I'll be going back

Ronny, Really nice shots. Clear as a bell and interesting expressions in the eyes! I've got the Sigma 100-300 4.5 DL which is not a great lens, but stopped down it does OK. I doubt I could get as clear as you did!
