Here are a couple of shots of some street performers in Freiburg, Germany. Both were very talented musicians. Were taken, at BigDawgs suggestion, with the Sigma 100-300 DL. The long lens was nice soI could get close without getting in their faces.

Great pictures, I use my 70-300mm all the time, its my walk around lens. OK, I do have a couple other lenses, but I havent had them out of the bag in a long time. I am considering possibly a 24-135 as my next purchase.

Thanks Ira and 2many, I like the lens when I'm in the city although there are times when a wider angle would be handy! Still if I plan ahead I can concentrate on one or two types of shots and worry about the others on another day. I think it helps in keeping some focus.
