I haven't been able to get on here much in the last two days - there's all kinds of things to catch up on (I did read the specs on the two new cameras). Last night we didn't make it home - left at noon today, hoping that we could find a road that they hadn't closed. We managed to find one road that was still open. Here's what my front porch looked like when we got home, andit hasn't stopped! I know, the picture isn't verygood, but I just wantedtoshow that even Southern California can have difficult weather and road conditions.

It never rains in Southern Californian....but it does snow, eh! Try some with the +1 to +1.5 exposure compensation and the snow will brighten up nicely! Good composition.

But it certainly looks nice: enjoy it while it lasts. You got really good weather all year long. Snow included. Have fun. |

Unlike Roy, I can relate to that. However for us this year, it has just Been Cold. We have had several storms but not much in the way of accumulation. Just Snow and ice. Nice picture thou. Phil |

Roy - I remember some snowy days in Texas. Not this much, but enough that I used to drive around in winter with a bale of hay in the back of my 2WD pick-up.
Jay - it was so grey outside, I didn't want to brighten it up too much. Perhaps tomorrow sometime the sun will come out and I'll have to remember to use a +EV. The best thing about this is ... [glow=blue]SNOW DAY TOMORROW![/glow]. There's no way we'll be able to get to work so I'll be able to go snowshoeing and/or cross-country skiing out my front door! Southern California does have some wonderful weather, and I'm lucky enough to be able to experience it all. |

I thought you had a Jeep!
It has been around -20F for the last few days here, but snow is on the way this weekend. Yes, I am finally back from sunny Northern California and it is sunny here too, but darn cold. Nice shot of the steps with snow on them. Tom |
