Dusted off the Raynox DCR-150 macro adapter I bought last about a year ago to use with my old ultrazoom. I attached it to the end of my Tamron 70-300, and had to try to focus manually while tracking a moving ladybug.

No Raynox for this one, just the Tammy. Looks like she's trying to cross a sheet of ice...

Oh, couldn't guess lady bugs love ice skating, too:blah:Oh, but my daughter does (as well as ladybugs), so I should show her that one : )
I liked theDOF control in the first picture ![]() |

Wow, that combo works very well together! I've thought about getting one of the Raynox fisheye attachments but they are almost as expensive as a dedicated fisheye lens! They obviously are very high quality optics.

I bought the Raynox DCR-150 last year for around $40 USD. I used it with my Fuji S6000fd, and it did a great job. It's more difficult w/K100D, as I have to focus by moving the camera closer/further to the subject, and that's tough with only the viewfinder, rather than the Fuji's LCD.
It's not as good as a "real" macro lens, but I like it - especially for $40! ![]() Here's a shot I took with the Raynox last year, attached to the Fuji. |
