Warm, but with gale force winds (30 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 mph).
![]() My 8th Grader pushes to a win in the 100 meters ![]() Kind of a story here. In this pic your see my oldest daughter running the anchor of the 4 X 100 relay. You can see it's a close race... ![]() Here she starts to gain a bit, but still close... ![]() Here she takes the race in-hand and you can see the other girl realizes it's over... ![]() A really good day (other than the wind) K10D with DA 50-200mm |

Congrats to your daughter! I love the last picture, it's my favorite of the set. It looks like you were struggling a bit with the focus/DOF in a couple of the others. Considering how HARD these types of pictures are, you've done very well.

I think I was struggling more with trying to take pictures and cheer my daughter on.
They both had quite a day. The 8th grader took 1st in the 100 meters, 2nd in the long jump, and was part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams that took 1st. My senior daughter (only 25 days to go, she says) was also on the 1st place 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams and on the 4x400 relay team that took 2nd. |
