Hello again my dear Pentax owners/fans!

From today shooting, an a example how good is my acquired Pentax K10D fitted with the supplied "Kit" lens, a close up shoot of my gave bouquet to my wife for our celebrated 3 decades spousal relationship.

My vintage Vivitar 3700 flash at manual F:10 & 1/180seg shutter speed. + PP with my Picasa photo organizer software.

Any critic as usually is heart fully welcomed!:P

Peace,

Alex 007:|

The flower is lovely - but 3 decades? Well done! I wonder what it feels like to be married for 30 years - guess I'll find out in another 3 years, assuming my other half doesn't kill me because of buying lenses...

Dear Buddy!

You MUST...MUST...teach to your wife, as I do it...that "Photo/Stereo Hobbies"...are much better that casinos, women of the street. etc...! Maybe will take time to her to comprehend your hobbies...but I can assure you that will be O.K!

Among us...I spend/expend a lot of money with my Photo & Stereo gear...always looking for "High End" items!. After a few years she accepted my hobbies!

For you a side shoot of the same two flowers!:?

Thanks for your critic!

Peace,

Alex 007:|

Congratulations on reaching 30 years. I'm just a little ahead of you (will be 40 years in Dec.), and it's great. Someone at work the other day asked me how long I have been married and did I still enjoy it. I told them that my lovely bride has been happily married for 40 years, and I have been happily married for 12 years -- and they ain't consecutive years!:-) Wouldn't trade for anything.

mtngal: The years get better the more they pile up. We're still on our honeymoon.

Alex - my husband doesn't dare kill me about buying lenses. He knows perfectly well he created the monster backin 1980, when he gave me (his girlfriend)a Pentax ME SLR -at the timeI had absolutely no interest in photography beyond taking snaps with an instant camera. But since he gave it to me, I felt I needed to learn how to use it. I'm still learning today and am grateful that he gave me such a wonderful, lifelong hobby. It's been a great ride - both being married to such a wonderful guy and to have such a fun hobby.

Boy!......Talk about a bunch of old married folks .....(shakes his head as he joins the line with 32 years).....:G

I really think that the secret reason my wife has become understanding of my photo hobby is the hope that she'll have a grandkid to shoot in the not too distant future and she wants me to be ready.

Actually, I'm fortunate in that she has begun to take a real interest in shooting. She has taken over my Fuji s6000, and we have begun going out together. It makes for some nice days.
