Walked out in the yard yesterday and almost crushed this little fella. We've had a lot of rain this summer. First frog I've ever found in my yard.

A good thing you saw him - he's a cute little fellow. We have mountain toads croaking in the spring every evening, but I never see them. It sounds like there's a million of them! I miss them now that it's summer and they are silent.

Sharp and nice shot. Might be you're even more lucky - he resembles the European Edible Frog a bit, maybe you got your Sunday dinner there.:blah: Penolta?

Really nice portrait of the little guy. We have so many frogs in the spring here in Germany that volunteers put up small fences along the road to keep them off it. I used to think it was to save them, but I have recently heard that its to keep them from messing up the roads and making the roadsdangerous to drive on because the mushed bodiesdeminish traction! The truth is out there somewhere.
