Very pretty bird! I'm sure you would have preferred he perch somewhere else without branches, but how likely is that?!!? And this one gives me the feeling that I'm spying on a very shy creature. I like it.

where did you find this ![]() i have been in the hills often and only ever seen them in the distance as they flew away a pty about the brances but we cant always choose the best angle ![]() how many shots did you get? |

Thanks for the comments. These birds are gun shy as they like pear trees etc, and probably can't tell the difference between a .22 and a pentax. Photos taken at Northcliffe in south of West Australia. Other frames not in focus as I had to be quick!
