All I can say is that it's a pretty tree - good thing I didn't hazard a guess as to it's type because I would have been way off.

Nice shots of a beautiful tree, Eddy. I thought it might be some sort of hibiscus but thought it was odd that it was blooming this late. Oh well, enjoy it while ya got it!

I was interested enough to look this up, as it is not a typical mallow. It was introduced from China and has gone wild in Florida and Texas. A common name is "Cotton Rose" (It is neither a cotton nor a rose, but that is why we have scientific names). It looks like a nice plant to have.
