Visited my son in Alexandria VA., no DC monument photos. have done that before. Looking for opinions on which Subway photo works best for you.
All with K10D, DA 12-24mm @ 12mm F4.0 #1 1/13 Second, ISO 800 Ed |

Actually the lights are on the front of the train comming toward me. Interesting effect that I did not expect.

I like number 2 better - more dramatic, and the colors in the ceiling (especially the shadows) are more interesting. I see your using the 12-24. If you have other lenses at the wide end, how does this compare with them, as I am seriously considering the lens also.

The only other lens I have this wide is the DA 10-17mm fisheye. The 12-24mm takes great undistorted photos. Testers have said it works best at the wide end. I think a good design goal since most buy for the wide end having others to cover the 24mm end. I decided to travel somwhat light for my trip, in a lowepro 160 AW I carried the K10D, DA 12-24mm, Tokina 24-200mm, DA 21mm, DA 40mm, DA 70mm and FA 50mm 1.4 for speed. Worked out well for me.
