Was bored today so took some shots in the garden with the Sigma 24-135 and one of the close up filters I bought with it. Shot jpeg and pp in elements. Tell me what you think.

You're getting good at this Jon. The flower really stands-out with those drops.

Nice work, thanks for posting.

They look good to me! I like the single flower the best also.

Excellent shots Jon. Are you referring to the Sigma 24-135mm f2.8-4.5 lens? If you are where did you score the 77mm close up lenses, must have cost a bundle?

Wow. That's what I said aloud when the first pic was loading up in my screen. I especially like the 2nd and 3rd. Very clear and sharp. The colors are bouncing off my screen. Well done! Well done indeed.

Thanks for the comments. The single flower was my favorite also. Yes, Ira, it is the Sigma same as you have. I got them on ebay, of course, $24 for +1, +2, and +4 set in nice case. Here is the link:

I couldn't resist as I am using that lens primarily. I have also bought a 3 filter kit with UV, CPL and ND4 all 77mm for about $35 shipped. I don't think they are anywhere near top quality but for my learning purposes. they work.

One more "macro" I took tonight coming in the house tonight:

Taken with the kit lens, built-in flash, about 5" away because I put it on for some sunset shots I will post later.
Thanks for the nice responses.
