It has been announced today, that The Crocodile Hunter is dead from a stingray barb whilst filming in Australia.

I just heard this news and am totally shocked, not sure why as he took such big risks but I guess it's just something you don't expect to hear.

I loved to watch him, he was crazy and comical and yet so serious about his work.

RIP Steve.

I heard this as I was waking up around 5 a.m. this morning. Incredible! The guy was so passionate about what he did. I wish his family the best.

I am saddened by his death but that being said I doff my hat off to him...he died doing something he loved doing. I wish when go I'd be doing someting I love to do.
