Newbie picture post! I've got the GX-1L, which as you all know is the DL2 with a different badge on the front. This is my first ever stab at studio-style photography, and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Welcome to the board BorUSA. The first one is excellent in my opinion. Did you put it thru some kind of filter? It has that Michelangelo feel to it.

Thanks!

The first one wasn't taken with any filter, though I've tweaked up the red saturation a very small amount.
The second was taken with a slave flash (which I learnt about from the flash thread!) just off camera to the right. I've been working on a DIY diffuser softbox sort of thing, which hopefully should mean my next effort is less harsh.
