Speaking of LBA... I'm looking at spending my savings yet again on a fast zoom lens. I'm looking at the sigmas 24-70mm f/2.8, 28-70mm f/2.8, 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5, or the tamron 28-75mm f/2.8

I'd ideally like something like the 17-70mm with a constant f/2.8 but I don't they make one of those do they?

I'm leaning towards the tamron because I've heard it is excellent, but i don't think it would be wide enough for what I want, and I can't have a gander at one because nowhere in sydney seems to have it!!

any ideas?!?

I'll then save up more money to spend on either the 70-200mm f/2.8 or the 120-300mm f/2.8.

I'll be using them mainly for low-light shooting such as theatre and also night time sports without great floodlights. And also macro stuff when I feel confident enough about it!!

My poor poor bank balance!

Really, you can hardly go wrong if you buy name brand fountain pens at a garage sale. Parker, Sheaffer (other than the cheap school pens), Waterman, Wahl or Eversharp are the big brands--any of these you buy for $5.00 or less could bring you a pretty good ROI on ebay. Esterbrook pens with "two hole" clips are nice and collectable, too. Stay away from most other brands. If you ever, ever see one made by a company named LeBoeuf--call me!!!!
