As some of you know, I collect and restore old fountain pens. Well, I sold a very, very valuable pen today ($700+) and the money is going toward.........















bathroom remodeling. Geeez!

I don't think there was supposed to be an image. Anyway, I didn't know about the fountain pens - after three years I just find out!

Wow! That would be enough to buy my K100D, a 1Gig card, 4 rechargeable batteries and a good bag! All from the sale of a fountain pen? Amazing.

It may seem hard to believe but there aretwo rare pens that can sell at $40,000 or more. There are a number pens that will sell in the $1000 to $5000 range. The rarest pen I ever found (at a garage sale) sold for $975 and probably could have gone as high as $1200 at a good pen auction.
