That's a winner from Pentax! And 900bucks for that body it is a sure seller. Looks like things are definetely picking up in the 10MP corner. More good news for us, as prices are sure to drop in a few months or so.

I read it also, it is an interesting camera and I want one today!

I called the largest photography house in Minneapolis and not only did they not have any orders for the D10, but they had never even heard of it.

Ok here is my wery first post on this forum after only looking for a couple of months. Why post today well...

Today I held a Pentax K10D in my hands.A pre-production camera to be precise. It has all the features mentioned and it has (to me at least) fantastic build quality. A tad heavy but a good grip and it feels solid. I took some pictures an printed them on a digital lab.(had to promise not to put the on the web as the camera is pre-prod)

The pictures were great and the SR really works.(overcast today and late in the evning when I tried the camera)

Finally comes the Pentax I have been waiting for !

Look forward to the day it hits the shelves.

I got the PDF here and am drooling, I have two new Pentax converts here, they were about to go N*k*n and C*n*n and they have both stopped their orders and are waiting for the K10D.

I bloody hope PENTAXstart doing some promo stuff, like caps and shirts that reads, "PENTAX...Just because it DOES." or something like that, anything with PENTAX on it..

Their philosophy might be to walk quietly and carry a stick, but right now this camera is going to be a BIG stick and they should proudly tell everyone.

And every PENTAX owner who has one should tell everyone thay have one, just because it does do everything you could want.

Roll on the sales, I want one NOW....
