A single mother hauling 15 kids on her back - :O

The last one was taken with the Vivitar Macro Focusing converter attached.

You amazed us with the pict last time re from Austria. Looks like you are good in macros as well. Great find you have there. Something so negligible can be really beautiful.

I agree about pic quality and beauty, but is it really wise to neglect them? When I was in Nicaragua I was sh*t scared to find one in my boots or trousers in the morning:-).

Excellent photos - but I could do without the scorpions. Brings back memories of my days living in Texas, where they were all over. Never saw something like this - really incredible.

Just in case you wondered. I have found this scorpion in my backyard. Actually it walked right up to me in bright daylight while I was sitting there in my patio drinking coffee. So I caught it with a pair of tweezers. (No big deal - already caught 100 or more)

I brought it over to my buddy down the street who has a small terrarium where hekeeps the ones he finds and we put it in there. A week later he called me up to tell me to bringmy camera to take some pictures of the new family.

I also took some pictures of a Green Lynx Spider that day, but that will be another thread.

PS. My buddy got stung twice. Personally I have avoided getting stung so far, but I know sooner or later they will get me too -LOL :-)

i've been hit once and i don't want to again. best i can describe it is that it feels like someone putting a cigarette out on your thigh.. it immediately got my full attention..
