Today (the 17th) is my 55th birthday. I put a framed original photo in a silent auction at our church festival, and it was at $100.00 yesterday afternoon--the auction goes until 3:00 today.

This is what my kids got me for my birthday...

He opened his 2006 tour here last night. Incredible band--especially a kid named Derek Trucks...unbelieveable. If you want to read a review of the concert, go to EC's web page (ericclapton.com).

Happy Birthday to you two!

Ira: strange, but for some reason it's not my birthday today!

Hey, the parallels now are kind of spooky, the same birthday would really put it into the paranormal.

I think I read somewhere that, statistically, there are usually two people with the same birth date (not including the year) in a random sample of 32 or 34 people.

Happy Birthday, Rick and Ira! Rick - what a neat birthday present! Last year my sister decided that she should take her kids to a real old-fashioned rock and roll concert when we were in Vegas. We had several choices, but passed up Three Dog Night for Paul McCartney. Not sure her teens appreciated it, but I had a great time remembering when I saw the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl and then at Dodger's Stadium.
