Here are 4 Images I took last Saturday at the weekly Cruise-In/Car Show in Scottsdale, AZ. I thought the light was just perfect. All taken with the DS and ISO 800, hand held. The last one is a work in progress for a desktop wallpaper experiment.

After looking at them for a while, I am really wondering if I need a 10 MP camera. So far I am very very happy with my 6 MP Sensor. But that shake reduction would probably be a good thing, becauseI do a lot of available light photography like that. Maybe I'll take a serious look at the K100D.

I also love the lens I used that evening, it is becoming my new favorite real quickly. Can someone guess the lens?

Excellent images! Particularly like images # 2 and 4...Motor Trend quality! By the way, how do you imprint a copyright tag on your pictures prior to uploading to this site? :? Jay

Thanks. I edit my pictures in Paint Shop Pro X and use a second layer to add a signature/watermark. I have several premade ones and just pick the one that seems to fit the image best. Isometimes also adjust luminance before merging the layers. Then save as jpg and upload.

I don't use Adobe Photo Shop so I couldn't tell you how it is done there.

Nice sharp images, and the process is the same in Photoshop.

Love #2 and 4 - awesome photos! Who needs SR if you can take photos like that without it?

Great photos, great car. When they get it right they do get it very right. Now if only I could afford one.

great photos. I wonder if they'd look beter with polarizer to cut reflection on the body. I think it might be great for the last one.

Thanks for the comments.

I thought the same thing on the last picture. But it was getting dark and I had to crank the ISO up to be able to hand hold. I guess if I would have had a polarizer with me, it would have probably been too dark to use it without a tripod.

Awesome photos Will! Since the focal length is 17 - 23mm, I will guess you used the kit lens. I think the reflections add to the pix. I want that car!
