so what's the aim of HDTV signal? what do you want to use it for if not HDTVl? for one of this glasses gizmo you showed i your first post? have you ever actually see anyone using them (maybe except Japan but they are crazy about all this stuff)? or do you want HDTV signal just for the sake of having it? I could understand viewing photos on big HDTV screen (52 inch) but they cost outrageous amount of money. and it wouldn't be very convinient anyway?

can you please answer this question: what for do you need HDTV signal in your camera if not viewing them on HDTV?

You simply to hostility. You merely seeking to stir up trouble. You are not to discuss the issue?

HDTV signal = using a HDTV?

These are just for HDTV?

I don't think anyone is being hostile, they just want to know why anyone would want this on their camera, when I is fairly simple to take the SD card out and put in in a computer that can do the transfer.

Why did you not to consider this issue from the positive side?

The world's only has HDTV?

I'm seeking to stirr trouble? it was you who started this thread.

I am discussing issue, I keep asking question because I want to understand your point, but you don't answer, you just keep saying that it's needed feature without saying why it's needed. HDTV is not a standard and won't be for a while.

from your diagram it looks like you want to plug your camera to computer monitor (DVI and VGA inputs). do you know anyone who has monitor without a computer? or do you intend to unplug it from PC or MAC to connect your camera? and I don't think S-video can carry HDTV signal so what's the point of it?

HDMI and UDI - I don't know what's that but I don't think it's widespread standard, and won't be for couple years. in couple years you'd have new cameras supporting this connections (if anyone finds them useful in camera)

for me HDTV output would be useful only for viewing photos on HDTV, but because majority of people doesn't have one it's not needed. that's how I see it.

If not understand each other, they can be amicable talks to resolve the issue.

Perhaps my language is a problem.
But if me do not understand the problem, I will not raise objections.

Thanks

you still didn't answr my question.

and to answer your question: no, I don't think so, but so far our discussion looked like that:
I aks: why? and you answer: because (or don't answer at all)

so I repeat my questions again:
1. from your diagram it looks like you want to plug your camera to computer monitor (DVI and VGA inputs). do you know anyone who has monitor without a computer?
2. or do you intend to unplug it from PC or MAC to connect your camera?
3. I don't think S-video can carry HDTV signal so what's the point of it?

This question is difficult because your thinking.

1.Many peoples have several monitors, especially for professional image processing.

2. Image processing used by the monitors usually have two input port.

3. Light 7-inch LCD onlyUSD 150-270.
