I was thinking it was time that I did another night out and about shooting in the City.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in meeting up and having a chat, swapping stories, showing off lenses and taking a few hundred pics of our lovely city, I know of a few spots that are all in the city and surrounds that are great for night shooting.

Swap techniques and tricks, put faces to screen names.

Bring yourself, camera, tripod and if your like me, a stack of lenses

I am thinking of Saturday night 23/09/2006, the weather is supposed to be sunny all weekend, so good shooting weather. Time TBA but maybe 7pm onwards.

I would love to join you Crash especially as the weather here as been so wet and miserable lately (although the last week has actually been quite good).

Problem is though, a rather long swim followed by a rather long walk to get there from Wellington , NZ.

I am a little surprised at the response actually, I was hoping for at least one person...:lol:Maybe they don't want to share or maybe they don't like me

I will wait and see, but will still go a photo hunting on my own in necessary, just thought it would have been nice to share experiences and see different techniques and lenses.

It can't be either of the reasons you state - I'd love to come, but there's this matter of a VERY long plane ride. Now if you ever want to take star tracks from a mountain top in Southern California, I can show you the place if you'll give me some pointers how. Or a number of other spots in SoCal.

Well I was hoping to kick off at Kings Park or Matilda Bay, maybe do the waterfall near the freeway, wherever.

I think sunset is still pretty early like 6.30 - 7.00pm.
