Hello there

If someone pick up a K100 D (at 580 USD is the best for me as a begginer) what are the lenses that you would recommend ...

- Landscaspes (wide angle)
- Birds, flowers (telephoto)
- wedding event (potraits)
- action

Please list also the prices. Thanks in advance.

regards

Your budget probably won't get you a bucket full of lenses. For the digital cameras, the Pentax 12-24mm is a great wide angle. Telephotos can be had used, some autofocus and some not. For birds, lood for 200mm or greater, and if you can manually focus, there are 200mm A lenses that are very good.

There is a 300mm f/4 but the price has gone through the roof now that the K10D is out, too bad. They were some of the finest lenses you could get used!

I'm really pleased with the results from my Tamron XR 28-200mm during my trip. If you live in the US or Canada it can be had for a veryd ecent price I think. (other countries have high import duties)

Furthermore, dont pass up on the kit lens. It's worth the money.
