Does anyone have a compillation of which RAW converters (other than Pentax's Photo Lab) are available for the k100? Either free or otherwise!

Thanks to all in advance,

Don't be put off by the Pentax PhotoLab software - it doesa pretty good job of converting RAW images in bulk into JPEG.

Any difficult shots can be fine tuned afterwards using Manual mode.

I use PPL v2 with my *istDS as it produces RAW converted JPGs which are sharper than JPG *** straight out of the camera.

Try getting used to Lab 3. It's a good program once you get the hang of it. I find my results more than satisfactory, and am really pleased with the jpg conversions. Very clean and sharp, plus if you want to batch process you can...cheers......Don

Here's a comparison between Pentax PPL v2 & PPL v3 against Adobe Camera RAW - all auto processed with 'Auto' turned off in ACR.

I still maintain that PPL v2 (sorry only compatible with *istDS or below) produces sharper images than the competition.
