Actually bought it from Pacific Camera I believe. Somewhere around $150 or less if I recall correctly. Think there is still one more in the retail channels for around $175....... but I can't recall who. Thought it was Bergen Camera though...
I don't have much luck w/ Pentax and ebay.. too many collectors. 3rd party lenses are much easier though. But I do know where there is a Tamron SP2 80-200 f2.8 in KA mount.....about $160 Canadian Sharp lens, a bit flat and CA at close distances but worth every penny, at least at that price....
BTW: This (Vivitar)is one sharp lens but only goes 1:2 or 1:4 depending on zoom range

Ok - now I know who outbid me on that lens on Ebay - hehe.

BTW - did you notice any artifacts or reflections under certain lighting conditions ( flash or back lit scenes) and smaller aperture with this lens?

No polishing cloth - they have a finish like that from the factory. Most of them do not get used. The 3 "A" lenses are identical in sharpness andease of use.
i posted about this a few months ago. what you need is a SELVYT jewelers cloth. it's absolutely amazing what it does to lenes. you can also use it on all your glass. be sure it's a SELVT cloth. there are imitators..

I was going to collect Harleys - but formonetary reasons, I decided collecting lenses was the better idea.

Okay...I know this is a total noob question. What the heck does LBA mean? I've seen that used here before and I'm lost.

LBA - Lens buying addiction but it should stand for Louisiana Bankers Association since that's what you need to be to buy lenses.

But don't Hogs have a better return value. Now we know, its fountain pens and lenses.
