With the DA Limited lens on the K10D, I just feel that it's exactly like a Pancake on a *Brick*!

IMO the camera should be high inquality,and full of substanceconsidering that it weights 717 g (1.6 lb) without anything. (It must be one solid camera)

I can see that it is the heaviest among allthe other solid dSLRs, ofthe similar range IMO;

The D200 is 830 g (1.8 lb), which is its main competition, since the D80 is just an upgraded D70.

I expect you are right about the quality, but then time will tell when we see the results of the first user feedbacks, which is where the real truth comes out in any camera.

Sorry, I meant to say similar price range. The Nikon D200 is not in the price range of the above cameras. (AFAIK)

Which considering the features of the K10D, should irritate Nikon owners of a D200.

I'll personally wait for a good review about it. (dpreview's preview of it will soon turn into a review)

I will wait for a review, but more important to me is feedback by actual users on a forum like this, where I find out what actual users feel about the camera and the quality of its images.

Yes it does. Between it's apparent size/weight and it's price, I am soooo glad I got the K100D instead. I'm sure the K10D is an amazing camera, but the K100D suits me much better.
