Well, I have a tripod and remote release......

No, I don't think she would be that impressed with that idea.

This coming Spring will be our 20th. I'm planning to take her somewhere extra special. I'm leaning towards St. Martin in the Caribbean. I'd love to take the camera there, but I'd be too worried about sand.
I highly recommend cruising. Hit multiple islands and the Captain does all the driving for you. March-April there are generally some pretty good deals.

Gadgetnut - If you've never been to St John, US Virgin Islands you must consider it!! Beautiful, beautiful island, lots of snorkelingandonly a 40 minute ferry ride from St Thomas where there's plenty of shopping for your wifeand the British Virgin Islands are also an easy day trip away. My husband, daughter and I spent 10 days in the Virgin Islands in late June and it was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had.We rented our own private villa on St John on a hillside overlooking the ocean andwe werea short drive tothe beaches since the entire island is only 7 miles long. The island is 2/3 national park and is made up of mostly villa rentals andthere are also two resorts, the Westin Resort and Caneel Bay Resort as well as a couple of campgrounds. And regarding the sand, I've seenmany fantastic pictures taken on the beaches of St John with dSLR's. I fell in love with the island and I cannot wait until we can make our second trip back(and this time with my K100 in hand!!).
