I was able to pick up one of these at a local auction, and know they are pretty rare. Very unique lens, in that the f stops are moved via diaphragm, and the focus is pre-set. This lens is VERY thin, pancake-like, quite tiny. The pictures it takes are not particularly sharp, but better the higher the f-stop (f32 the highest). It would probably be of most interest to a collector rather than an everyday usable lens. The lens is probably rated as good to very good condition.

It is an M42 screwmount, and not being a collector, would be interested in judging it's worth. gokevincameras on eBay have a mint condition one listed at $375, but they are always putting an exorbitant price on their lenses, and then going for best offer.

I don't think it is against forum rules to get some feedback on its worth, is it? If it is, my apologies, but if not, I would appreciate hearing from anyone with some experience or knowledge of this lens, and what it may be worth.

Wow! That really is tiny!

I have no idea about the value, but I'd love to see some photos from it.

No idea on value either but that is an amazingly thin lens. Honestly, the best way to determine value (IMO) is to throw it on ebay with a starting bid of .99 and no reserve. If there are at least two people who want one, you will find out what it is worth.
