Since alot of people are posting pics of autumn, I thought I'd post some too.











Since the trees around here don't change color, I thought I would shoot some pics of the empty beaches. It's getting pretty cold. Last night it got down to 66 degrees. Brrrrrrrr!

It gives us, the midwest folks, hope. I for one plan for a December/January vacation down south (maybe Florida). Not sure how the weather is in California around then (never been there but I would love to).

Very nice - which pier is that? That's my favorite picture, but all of them are good. Guess its about time for me to go get some Splash Cafe clam chowder in Pismo- I'll be able to find a parking place within a mile of it now.

SoCal weather in December and January can be anything, and it depends where you are, too. It might be 60s at work in West Los Angeles, and 20s in the mountains 75 miles away. Yes, you CAN snow ski in the morning and surf in the afternoon! Rather than trying to predict the weather, I tell everyone to bring a jacket and come prepared for anything.

That's tough!! It was 25 degrees in Maine yesterday morning, now I understand why my sister moved toSouthern CA last year!! :-)Great pictures by the way. It makes me look forward to our first visit toCA next summer.
