Nice pic. I like it. If I have to comment I would say that a smaller aperature would have gotten the tip of the stamen in focus as well.

Lovely rich colours though.

I had my AF zoom on Darren. I'm goingtry again in the morning with a regular lens.

I'm still trying to take myself out of 35mm mode, so I appreciate your comment. That's why I joined.

definately a smaller ap would work well. you used a flash so why not go for it. these close focus shots are easy with a small ap as you are so close. not all lenses will work tho because of their length. experiment some. film's cheap..

are you the linda i know??????

Hi ya Roy... Yes, it's your 20 questions friend!

I'm wondering if I shouldn't have used my regular lens with the step up rings (+1, +2 and +3) and gone to manual focus.

Linda

hey gal,
i sure enjoyed spending your $$$. it's best to use only 1 diopter because they do tend to worsen the image.. if you want to do macros read some of the threads here. it's painful going over it again.

i'm sure glad seeing you post over here.. remember, ''the only dumb question, is the the one you don't ask.''

... be prepared

I've used more than one stepup ring with my 35mm and had good luck with them, but haven't tried as much withthe istDS. I've been going through the threads here, slowly but surely. Lots to learn. Thanks.

Linda
